It's just strange, for me, that a game I always felt was all about its places has put its narrative integrity first. It's odd to see 14 years' worth of landscape and adventure - 14 years I lived and levelled, fought and walked - filed away where they won't irritate anyone, unless they go looking. It is the correct call, it just makes me wistful.
I'm definitely rolling another brand new character however.

Ewing shared photos on Facebook of the nearby flame's orange glow, and trees moving up on a nearby hillside -- just how neighboring was hard to tell from the dark.
"Wow -- is a nightmare," he wrote, watching fire crews head up the highway.
